Javis ("Jay") Brunson
Jay Brunson is a professional business coach, certified by the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching ("iPEC"). His purpose in life is assisting individuals in bringing their potential to life. And his focus is always on helping people learn how to position their career and or small business to make the most amount of money, with the least amount of time, effort and confusion.
Formerly, Jay was a managerial professional with the Investigation Unit of the Enforcement Division in the N.Y. Stock Exchange. For more than 28 years he combined outstanding communication, conflict resolution, management and leadership skills with coaching and mentoring others to achieve great results and professional growth in their work and career. His additional experience includes:
- Founder/owner of Javis Brunson Consultants, specializing in consulting, coaching and educating small business owners in the area of leadership development and operational efficiencies.
- Alumni Services Manager and Business Advisor for the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program at LaGuardia Community College. The 10,000 Small Businesses is a national $500 million investment by Goldman Sachs to spur growth and job creation in small businesses over the next five years.
- Affiliate and Consultant with Abel Business Institute of New York, specializing in working with small business owners.
- Adjunct Professor for the Division of Business and Technology where he teaches Principal of Management, Principal of Marketing, Introduction to Business, Business Technology and E-Commerce courses at LaGuardia Community College as well the instructor for the “College Now” High School students.
Javis is passionate about working with churches and other non-profit organizations to provide seminars and workshops on Business Development, and Financial Stewardship.
